Our world has changed so much since the beginning of modern technology or the Industrial Revolution. We went from having to share 1 phone with an entire family and kicking your siblings off to talk to your friends, to every single person over the age of 10 having a cell phone. As a modern society we have advanced faster than any culture has in the history of the world. It is really interesting how one little idea snowballs and builds and builds until it is so big you wouldn’t believe the first idea came to mind only a couple of years ago. The fact that a group of people can start businesses in a garage and turn it into the biggest company in the world like Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon, is crazy. What caused this burst of creativity and exploration (at least in the last 40 years) has 100% been the internet. The internet has boosted everything it has touched, and made it more advanced than anyone 50 years ago could’ve even imagined. I believe we are in the same situation as those people were in 50 years ago. No one thought that our world could look like it is now back then, so imagine what our world will look like in another 50 years. At the rate were going we could have a civilization on Mars by then who knows. I know for a fact we couldn’t predict it even if we tried and I really hope I’m around to see how it changes and how it grows in the future.
